Online Media Guide
Being a nationwide brand, Virgin Media needed a digital toolkit to help keep everything across the website consistent. A toolkit any team in any department can pick up and use, being able to rest assured that anything they do is on brand.
Typography is the backbone of any experience and it is essential that it performs effortlessly across devices and maintains consistency wherever it is used.
It was important not only to create micro animations for the website, but to make sure those animations were as efficient as they could be in terms of file size and responsiveness. Utilising the After Effects plugin ‘Bodymovin’ I was able to create these into live code (JSON files) to which they then could be implemented straight onto the website while maintaining a miniscule file size, helping the website maintain it’s fast loading speed and also retain optimal formats for desktop, tablet and mobile.
I’m a multi-skilled designer with a passion for creating good things that bring people closer together. My ultimate career goal has always been to bring the audience to the forefront of everything that I do, spreading happiness and meaningful stories through engaging and memorable experiences, using design-thinking central in all my work. I have a particular interest in UX processes and human-centered-design methodologies to help aid in the creation of relevant solutions that matter.
I am also rather fond of doodling, pretending I am good at Instagram, cycling, motorbikes, skating, and dogs.
