Virgin Media wanted to encourage customers to self install their services, but with something so technical, it is easy to be daunted by the prospect of installing your own products.
It was pivotal to the success of the Quickstart program that customers had thorough guidance to install their services with confidence, so a Quickstart hub made logical and business sense. This hub had to not only contain the required information to complete a successful set-up but should also be a pleasurable experience.
The solution was simple - to have a short stepped process that was easy to navigate to and from. With the addition of a small micro animation, visually showing the journey to installation makes the experience a little less boring and aids customers to carry out the next step.
I’m a multi-skilled designer with a passion for creating good things that bring people closer together. My ultimate career goal has always been to bring the audience to the forefront of everything that I do, spreading happiness and meaningful stories through engaging and memorable experiences, using design-thinking central in all my work. I have a particular interest in UX processes and human-centered-design methodologies to help aid in the creation of relevant solutions that matter.
