Campaign to tackle loneliness and isolation among elderly men in the borough of Islington
In March 2012 I organised and led an event in conjunction with Age UK to highlight the problem of lonliness and isolation among elderly people. Through focus groups and research I established that elderly men are those most affected. I paired up with Age UK and the Arsenal Youth Football Club to hold an event for all elderly men in the borough to come to Arsenal Football Stadium for a Wii Championship event to give people the opportunity to not only meet others but also to have fun and go head to head with the Youth Team on Wii Sports and learn about newer technologies, wrapping up with a tour of the stadium.
I’m a multi-skilled designer with a passion for creating good things that make the world better. Over the past 6 years my career goal has been to spread joy and meaningful stories through everything that I touch. I’ve worked with both big clients and small clients on a whole host of projects across channels in print, digital and social, working with a wide array of different disciplines from web design to illustration, photography to editorial design and typography. I love being able to turn my hand to any medium to answer problems to create the best solutions.
I am also rather fond of doodling, pretending I am good at Instagram, riding my motorbikes, martial arts, skating, and dogs.
