Kaku Pacha

Self Initiated

Kaku Pacha is a project born from my curiosity, with a mission to explore the reasons behind my constant doodling and my experience with burnout.

The name Kaku Pacha blends various world translations to mean “Draw Your World,” symbolizing my desire to explore how I perceive and navigate the world around me.

It began as daily mindfulness doodles to relieve stress when my beloved dog was diagnosed with cancer. Over time, this practice evolved into a deeper journey of self-discovery, helping me refine my storytelling and creative skills while providing emotional release.

Around the same time, I was referred for an autism assessment, which heightened my curiosity about why I felt different from those around me. About two years later, I discovered that my doodling was a form of self-regulation—a natural response to what turned out to be undiagnosed ADHD. Through imaginative character doodles, I found grounding in the present, sharper focus, and relief from stress and anxiety.

As I delved deeper, I began asking not just “why?” but also “how?” This led me to explore how different states of the nervous system shape our daily lives and how we can transition back to a place of safety and calm.

At its core, Kaku Pacha is about working with my natural rhythms and seeing where they lead. It’s about championing the creative process over the final product, building something meaningful and enriching—not just for myself, but for others who may share similar experiences.
