Self Initiated | Bike Said Fred

Developing on from my Food Bikes I wanted to explore the role of character within the cycling space and how personality and emotion could be achieved through illustration.

Whether that's a play on words using, using 'Mammal' instead of MAMIL, bringing in a more Marvel inspired vibe carrying the phrase 'Bring the thunder', or letting my imagination run and see what the outcome would be.

I achieved success with these experiments and was approached by cycling brand CamelChops to design a mascot named 'BEEF' for a line of their popular cycling bar bags.
