Gen AI Exploration

Generative AI is a hot topic in the creative industry at the moment, but my curiosity couldn't resist exploring this medium.

 

In a technology that can replicate photo realistic scenes and perfect artworks, I wanted to explore something more authentic, and a little more along the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi; the acceptance of transience and imperfection.

 

I wanted to explore the creation of artisanal crafts, inspired by Samurai and the warrior class of ancient Japan through tactile sculpture in Adobe Firefly.

 

Why greyhounds?

My two greyhounds, Duke & Alma, taught me so much about strength, resilience and unconditional love in spite of suffering not one, but two different aggressive cancers... each.

 

These explorations are a homage to their strength and bravery.
